Translation studio since 2019.

ChillTranslation is a translation agency based in Puerto del Rosario, Fuerteventura. We work with businesses in the Canary Islands and across Spain that need reliable professional translation done properly.

We cover six types of translation work: documents, websites, legal and certified, marketing, technical, and interpreting. Everything goes to a translator with the relevant subject knowledge. A legal contract does not go to the same person who handles hotel marketing.

A specialist translator with subject-area knowledge handles your project. You receive progress updates on larger scopes. No AI used at any stage.

Review and QA

A second translator proofreads the completed text. Terminology consistency is checked against your brief. We flag anything ambiguous before delivery.

Delivery and handoff

Files in agreed format: Word, PDF, or web export. Certified seal added where required. A summary note documents the scope and any decisions made.

No. All translations are produced by qualified human translators. We offer machine translation post-editing on request for internal documents only, and we are transparent about which type of service you are getting.

Fixed-package pricing is based on approximate word count and delivery time. Custom projects are quoted at a fixed total after file review. No surprise invoices. If scope changes, we quote before proceeding.

Standard delivery is 3 days for Basic, 2 days for Standard priority. Express 24h available as an add-on. Timelines run from receipt of complete project files, not from payment.

Yes. Several clients are on monthly retainer agreements with a word allowance and priority response. Contact us to discuss terms for your volume.

Primary: Spanish to and from English, German, French, Dutch, Italian, and Portuguese. We also cover Russian and Arabic for specific document types. Contact us for other language pairs.

Yes. We work with sworn translators registered with the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs for documents requiring official certification. Notarization support is available as an add-on.

We send a project intake form within one business day. Translation begins once files are received and the brief is confirmed. You receive a progress update at 50% and a delivery notification at completion.

Word, PDF, InDesign, HTML, XML, XLIFF, and plain text. Handwritten documents are accepted when legible. Scanned documents may require an OCR surcharge for poor-quality scans.
