Consecutive and simultaneous interpreting for business meetings, legal hearings, medical appointments, and conferences. Remote video interpreting on any platform.
Confirmed within 1 business day of booking request. Same-day subject to availability.
For meetings and conferences in the Canary Islands we provide in-person interpreters. We cover Puerto del Rosario, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and major business venues across all seven islands, with travel fees quoted where applicable. For legal hearings at courts across Spain we can arrange court-registered interpreters. For remote sessions our interpreters work via video call on Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, or any platform your meeting uses.
Same-day bookings are available depending on language pair and interpreter availability. For complex legal or medical hearings, booking 48 to 72 hours ahead is strongly recommended to allow adequate subject-matter preparation. For large conferences requiring simultaneous interpreting with equipment, we recommend booking at least two weeks in advance.
Legal interpreting requires precision, neutrality, and familiarity with the terminology and conventions of the legal system. We only assign interpreters with verified experience in legal settings to legal bookings. Our legal interpreters have worked in Spanish courts, at notarial proceedings, in arbitration, and at immigration offices.
Court interpreting requires formal registration in Spain. We work with interpreters who are registered with the relevant courts or who meet the accreditation requirements of the specific proceeding. If you are booking for a court appearance or formal legal proceeding, include the full details so we can confirm the right interpreter before confirming the booking.
Medical interpreting requires sensitivity as well as accuracy. A patient who does not fully understand a diagnosis or treatment plan is a patient who cannot give informed consent. We assign interpreters with medical interpreting experience and familiarity with clinical terminology to healthcare bookings. Remote medical interpreting is available for GP consultations, specialist appointments, and mental health sessions.
We do not provide interpreters for settings where professional medical interpreting certification is a legal requirement in the jurisdiction, except where our interpreters hold the relevant certification. Contact us with the specific setting and we will confirm what is available.
For business meetings, negotiations, and conference calls where both parties need to communicate directly, consecutive interpreting is the standard mode. The speaker delivers a passage, pauses, and the interpreter renders it in the other language. For larger conferences or panels, simultaneous interpreting is available with booth equipment and headsets.
For negotiations specifically, we provide interpreters who understand commercial and contractual language and can maintain neutrality throughout a high-stakes discussion. Preparation material (agenda, technical terms, background documents) should be sent in advance to allow the interpreter to prepare appropriately.
Yes. We provide interpreters for Extranjeria, Registro Civil, and other government offices in the Canary Islands. Include the specific office and appointment type when booking so we can assign the right interpreter.
Two hours for in-person sessions. One hour for remote video interpreting. Travel outside Puerto del Rosario is quoted separately based on distance. Same-day bookings carry a surcharge when available.
Yes. Remote court interpreting via video link is increasingly common and we provide this service. Confirm the platform and technical requirements when booking so we can ensure the interpreter is set up correctly.
For events requiring simultaneous interpreting with booths and headsets, we coordinate equipment hire as part of the booking. This is quoted separately and requires at least two weeks notice for equipment logistics.
